Dr. Casey Sitko

Dr. Casey Sitko is a Springfield, IL native who, besides during his college years, has lived in Springfield his entire life.  After attending Sacred Heart-Griffin high school and lettering in three sports (soccer, swimming, and track), Dr. Casey attended the former Springfield College in Illinois where he played on the men's soccer team, and earned the honor of Academic All-American.  He then transferred to the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign as a junior, and graduated with a degree in Psychology. 

He started working towards a Master's Degree in Counseling at UIS after graduating from the U of I, but soon decided that he wanted to change gears and go to chiropractic school.  He had to take all of the prerequisite science courses at Lincoln Land Community College which took another year to complete.  

Dr. Casey finally was able to attend Logan University in Chesterfield, MO starting in the summer of 2012.  Dr. Casey was an active student at Logan University College of Chiropractic.  He was a member of the professional fraternity Chi Rho Sigma (XPE), and worked for the Post-Graduate Department at Logan.  Dr. Casey then decided to add more to his schedule by enrolling in the Master's program for Sports Science and Rehabilitation.  During his three and a half years at school, Dr. Casey also got married, and had his first child in Chesterfield.  

Dr. Casey graduated in August of 2015 with both degrees of Doctorate of Chiropractic, and the Master's of Sports Science and Rehab (cum laude).  He was awarded the Post-Doctoral Professional Education Award, and also earned a 100 hour certification in Acupuncture.  Dr. Casey worked as an student intern at the highly selective BioFreeze Human Performance Clinic while at Logan in order to hone his skills as a chiropractor and sports rehabilitation expert.  He was then given the opportunity to travel with Logan clinicians to Italy in order to help give care to athletes at the World Sports Games in Lignano, Italy near Venice.  

Dr. Casey is passionate about being a Springfield chiropractor.  He is married to his beautiful wife Tristen, and they have three daughters together.  They are active members of Hope Church where Tristen is part of the worship team, and Casey is part of the mentoring team at Feitshans School.  Dr. Casey loves spending his free time with his family, working out at Kerasote's YMCA, coaching soccer, and enjoying outdoor activities.
